Dr. Ralph Hogges is a retired professor and administrator of Nova Southeastern University. As a writer, poet and playwright, he is the author of 16 books. He is the President & CEO of the Writers Group of South Florida.

He is the co-founder and President of the Hogges, Cowins and Smiley Book Festival and Writers Conference, and co-founder and Senior Editor of the Hogges, Cowins and Smiley South Florida Writers of Color Literary Arts Magazine (an Online Literary Arts Magazine).
